GiveGarden – the brilliant fundraising option {And a Giveaway!}

6

A few weeks ago, a few of our contributors had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie Lucas, MS, RD, the owner of GiveGarden, at Mom Made Market. They walked away absolutely impressed with the company’s mission and service. They both contacted me and asked if we could tell the community about GiveGarden – then I found out that neither one of them knew the other person had done the same. I was already impressed and intrigued! I couldn’t wait to learn more about the company.

Stephanie, a registered dietitian, wanted a new way to fund-raise and support worthwhile causes. She created an experience for the entire family! Child-centered, food-based activities are delivered to your doorstep and you choose what cause you’d like to give back to! This allows families to support anything from their local church group, to their daughters soccer team, to their grandson’s chess club, to their local schools PTO, to a pediatric cancer foundation, just to name a few. They have the ability to pump thousands of dollars back into the community and do so without compromising our health like other popular candy or cookie-based fundraisers.

To delve into Give Garden’s philosophy, let’s first take a peek at their Mission Statement:

“Give Garden’s mission is to engage children creatively and enhance bonding in the communities they live in through innovative fundraising opportunities that encourage healthy habits, teach while they entertain, bring households together around the kitchen table, and promote financial stability to youth-based organizations.”

Kelli, one of our contributors, shared the experience with her daughter. She tried one of the monthly delivery recipes.

The box of fresh goodness is delivered right to your doorstep!

They had a blast preparing delicious rainbow crisps! It was so adorable and delicious. The colorful veggies were just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

The GiveGarden would love for one of our readers to try their service, so they are giving away one recipe box!

To enter the giveaway, simply comment below what charity you would give back to with your subscription!

Thank you to GiveGarden for sponsoring this post!

  1. Now this is a company I can get behind!! Love this idea. I would give to St Josephs hospital and medical center- they do a great job st providing services and food for those who can’t afford it.

  2. Love this idea! A great friend of mine has a daughter with rare disease; I believe there are only less than 50 families in the WORLD that have this disease.
