Sweet and spicy recipes to lovehoney

I recently discovered this amazing honey at Fry’s Grocery Store, and it is a must buy! It is called Mike’s Hot Honey and it is the perfect blend of spicy heat and sweet delicious honey. You need this product in your pantry! And here are my top 5 recipes to use Mike’s Hot Honey now!

  1. Fig and Prosciutto Pizza. Almost all of these ingredients {except the honey} are available at Trader Joe’s. This is my favorite way to use the honey. Oh mama, this is delicious. I make a pizza with fig butter, brie cheese and sliced prosciutto. After the pizza bakes and the cheese is deliciously melted, add a drizzle of hot honey right before serving. But I think the hot honey would be delicious on any type of pizza!
  2. Baked Brie with apples and nuts. This recipe is perfect for football season this Fall. Drizzle the baked brie with Mike’s Hot Honey and serve with crackers or baguette slices. Melty, spicy and sweet….this is perfection. Mix butter, chopped apples and walnuts together and top a full sized circle of good brie cheese. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes and drizzle with the best honey ever!
  3. Grilled Peaches. This might be the most perfect dessert. Healthy and delicious. Just grill halved peaches on the BBQ until the surface is caramelized, add a drizzle of hot honey and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pecans for crunch.
  4. Fried Chicken. Yes this would be my last meal if I am ever on death row and need to pick one last meal. Doesn’t that sound good?
  5. Roasted Brussels Sprouts. After fully roasted till crispy and delicious, add pieces of goat cheese, pistachios and (of course) a bit of hot honey. Hmmm….. I think this will be my side dish for Thanksgiving this year!

So drizzle away and share with me where you use Mike’s Hot Honey so I can add your recipe to my list. And I am going to run out and get me an extra bottle before you buy it all!
