Try Luxury Skin Scottsdale for a Budget-Friendly but Decadent Winter Skin Revival

Scottsdale spa

These brisk and dry December mornings have been a nightmare for my skin. I was so grateful to be able to try out the facial services offered by Kayla Hernandez at Luxury Skin Scottsdale. With her 13 years experience as an aesthetician, Kayla was able to come up with the perfect remedy for my flaky skin, blotchy patches, crepe-y under eyes, and general holiday season skin fatigue.

After a one hour treatment, I want to sing from the rooftops my love of Kayla’s work. Not only is she easy to talk to (our kids are the same ages and we are going through the same Kindergarten search), she is impressively knowledgeable about skin care and has a ton of tricks up her sleeve.

Location, Location, Location

Set inside the Onyx Body Spa at 13802 North Scottsdale Road, Luxury Skin Scottsdale is convenient. I must drive by the spa four times a day. Parking is a breeze.

I loved walking around the waiting area smelling the soaps and essential oils. There were a ton of stocking stuffer ideas here. My four year old is obsessed with bath bombs, and Kayla helped me find one which turns the water black. He’s going to love it!

Offerings

I never know how to book a facial. Do I need a harsh stinging peel? Will light therapy actually help me? If I add on services, will a la carte pricing ruin my holiday shopping budget?

With Kayla, booking is a breeze.  With her flat rate $90 Signature Luxury Treatment, she was able to determine which treatments would alleviate my angry winter skin. The Arctic Cranberry Facial offered a better alternative to a chemical peel – gentle enzymes that actually renew skin cells. She used a microcurrent toning device around my eyes to strengthen the muscles and diminish my dry skin fine lines (it was like a little workout for my eyes!). Five minutes under her red LED light mask also offered to restore younger looking skin. I Finished with a roll of the Unpack Your Bags roller ball and a layer of peptide anti-aging moisturizer, I left the spa with a glow and new spring in my step.

Vibe

It’s a wonderful experience to go to a salon where your aesthetician gets you. I felt relaxed, pampered, and smarter about skin care.

Do yourself a favor and book a treatment with Kayla. You will leave renewed and feeling like you made a new friend.
