Local Instafaves for Little Girls

When I take my daughter out around town, I often get asked where I find her cute clothes. It all started with the pregnancy and birth of my baby girl in 2013, which coincided with my growing affection for Instagram. As I started to explore the app beyond my personal family and friends, I found more and more small shops offering super cute and unique clothing, accessories and more. Often when you find one of these gems on Instagram, you don’t necessarily know where the shop is located and it doesn’t matter much since you are connecting and shopping online. It has been so fun watching some of my favorite small shops grow and getting to know the amazing women behind them, who in this round-up, are all moms who are all based in the Valley.

Scottsdale Moms Blog loves to support our local mamas any way we can!  But don’t worry, you still won’t have to get out of your pajamas to shop the goods from these modern mama mavens.

As a recent transplant from full-time-working-mom in Los Angeles to full-time-stay-at-home-mom in Scottsdale, it has been a personal adjustment to say the least. This online community of other creative, like-minded people making magic happen has kept me inspired.  Connecting with mamas who are right here in the Valley has just made it that much better. Here they are, a few of my faves and why I love them each so much.  Now, who’s ready for summer?

1.// Hello Apparel // @helloapparel Unless you have been living under a desert rock, chances are pretty good you have already heard of Hello Apparel.  They definitely make themselves known in the local community, participating in many local arts markets and promoting their desert origin across their online branding.  This was one of the first brands I started following on Instagram and I insta-fell in love with their kitschy brand of humor.  I also love that they make tees and apparel for the whole family, not just baby clothes.

2.// Mini Moxie // @shopminimoxie This mama is also a transplant from Southern California (like me) but lived here before (also like me!).  Her moccs are so unique and coveted, but she only does very limited releases, so you will definitely want to keep her in your feed so you be the first to know when she opens back up and can grab a pair of these cuties!

3.// Crew & Lu // @crewandlu Not only does this woman have impeccable taste making some of the most beautiful little baby pieces you have ever seen, she’s also pretty funny.  Her hashtags on Instagram are second to none and if you just can’t get enough, she writes a blog in her spare time too!

4.// Wee Maggies // @weemaggies This busy mother of five (!) has a passion for sewing.  Love her boho vibe of turbans, kimonos, and skirts for little girls.

5.// La Pina Children’s // @lapinachildrens La Pina Children’s burst onto the scene last year with their oh-so-cute swimwear and has continued enchanting us with her seasonally chic children’s wear.  This year her swimsuits were no less than a smashing success – many designs selling out in minutes!

6.// Spearmint Love // @spearmintbaby This shop is the spin off of the Spearmint Baby blog.  Both feature super stylish clothing for littles, but their signature piece is this unique baby and full size blanket, available in many different patterns.  Follow her on Instagram for more pictures of her pieces in action + her two cutie-patootie kids.

7.// Miss Ainsley Mae// @missainsleymae Owner Kristin named her line after her beautiful daughter Ainsley, and season after season, she does not disappoint with her unique retro-inspired designs.  I’m so happy for her growth – these pieces are now hard to snag too unless your quick!

8.// Jumping Jack// @shopjumpingjack This is another one of the first mama shops I found on Instagram.  I was looking for more modern headbands (not just the gigantic flowers you can find at Target) and her modern turbans and twist knots fit the bill!  She also makes some pretty darn cute graphic tees for mamas and babes.

A word to the wise: some of these shops have extremely limited releases (handmade items are like that!) so it behooves you to actually follow them on Instagram to keep up with drop dates, shop closures, and new releases.  Just sayin’.

And I would love to connect with you too! You can find more of my instafaves, which I periodically feature, over on my blog: thelovedesignedlife.com and of course you can follow me on Instagram @thelovedesignedlife or come find me on Facebook and Pinterest.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for the promotion of these shops/brands or for featuring them on this Scottsdale Moms Blog post.  These are just my honest opinions of some shops I personally love and support. All pictures are authorized by the vendors.
