We asked our fabulous contributors about their favorite places to go out on a date night with their partner. Here are some ideas and inspiration for your next romantic date!
“Where is your favorite place to go on a date night?”
Rudri: We love Lamp Pizzaria. Cozy atmosphere, pizza from a wood-fired oven and friendly service. The vibe is chill and relaxing. Pairing unique pizza with your favorite glass of wine is a great way to unwind.
Sara: In our ideal world, we check out a new restaurant once a month for our date nights. The last huge hit was Virtu. Nestled into a quieter part of Old Town, the patio lights and heat lamps kept us cozy outdoors. Delicious food and wine rounded out the romantic atmosphere – total win.
Rebecca: Chelsea’s Kitchen. Patio, fireplace, short ribs and white sangria FTW!
Marina: Any sushi place in Scottsdale. We both love sushi and wine, so that is usually our go-to for date night. In particular, we like Sting Ray Sushi and Ra Sushi. We also just had an amazing date night at the Living Room in DC Ranch, with 80’s music blaring and wine and appetizers. Do you see a theme yet?
Kate: We love finding a new place we’ve never tried! Last time, it was Fired Pie and it was delicious. We usually eat a yummy dinner and love to go thrifting afterwards to see what treasures we can find.
Monika: Eddie’s House. The chef is so nice, always stops by to say hello, and the vibe of the place feels homey. It’s great for a cooler night – each bite of warm food is like an explosion of flavors that you never would have thought to put together yourself. Yum!
Renee: I love a surprise, so we choose a place I’ve never been to (which is not difficult to do when you’re new to the area), and we like to sample and share. Last date night, we went to Salty Sow and shared two appetizers, split a main and dessert while enjoying live music and a glass of wine. I like to share, but not my wine!
