Transitioning from the free-spirited days of summer to the routine of the school year can be exciting, but it can also be a stressful time for mom and child alike.

As my eldest daughter begins kindergarten I’m filled with mixed emotions. I imagine many moms feel the same way. While I’m excited for the structure and activity school provides, I know I’ll miss her…plus, it’s hard for me to believe that she’s in elementary school. My first baby…sigh.
