Car Trips with Children! {How to pack a Car-Caddy}

1

Car Caddy.jpgFor our family, the weekend usually brings an array of BBQs, play dates, and errands.  All of which involve CAR RIDES!

Less than a year ago, these outings meant having my diaper bag stuffed to the max.   Now my diaper bag weighs less but I still need “stuff”.  Whether it be the toy trains that MUST come along or everything “Frozen”…it adds up.  I still travel with my back up necessities.

Enter Car Caddy.  Enter back up necessities.

Taking the time to purchase, pack and stock this caddy has saved me in more instances than I can count.  No matter how many times I walk out the door thinking “I have everything I need”, I don’t.  Something slips through.

So I got to packing!

Clearly, my items were baby/toddler focused but this caddy could work for any age.  The two dividers can be placed anywhere within the caddy, allowing for each space to vary in size.

I used my three categories for:

  • Diapers & Wipes
  • Change of clothes & shoes for each kid
  • SNACKS!

And we can’t leave out the convenient side pockets!

From Kleenex, extra sippy cups and wipes galore, I am set!
