Contributor Corner: What’s YOUR New Year’s Resolution?

1

It’s a new year. A fresh start. A chance to set some new goals and be the person you meant to be last year! Well, our contributors at Scottsdale Moms Blog are no different! Here are some of our resolutions for 2014:

Angela: Be more thoughtful and present in all aspects of my life. Find the joy in the little things. Take a deep breath and relax occasionally.

Dream Photography Studio 006Diana: To find more balance in life (is this possible?) To be of service to our community through helping local organizations that truly touch my heart (this is a big one for me this coming year.) To evacuate Phoenix for the entire summer…for reals this year!

Jenn: Slow down and be present and try not to miss the little things this year. Self reflect and take care of my inner self.

Kirsten: Have a more open and honest relationship with “My Fitness Pal” app. Be up and showered before the kiddos wake up. Start 2015 with all 3 out of diapers!

IMG_0052Sara: To be intentional. Be that in building healthy routines, in allocating my time, in choosing my mindset

Noelle: To find the best pretzel bread in all of phoenix. To read at least 1 book a month. To resurrect my personal blog and write at least 2-3 times per week.

Kelley: Learn to cook more recipes and in turn, cook at least 4 times a week at home!

Monika: Trust in the future and cherish the past — but try to, whole-heartedly, pause and live in the present. Oh yea … try to run more and eat smaller portions

Sarah:  Completely overhaul my bra drawer, listen to more podcasts, ditch cereal as a family breakfast option except for weekends, and nourish my relationships with my siblings

Heather: To start a journal (that I will stow away in my nightstand) for each of my kiddos so that I can remember and document their little moments/sayings/quirks at the end of each day. To (finally!) start using a CSA for at least a portion of our produce. And to lift my hubby up each day by thanking (taking notice) of the little things he does to help our family.

Abbi: Complete the 52 week money challenge, be more intentional about saying no to busyness in order to enjoy the now, and to limit time spent in social media.
