5 Things You May Not Know About Apricot Lane at Scottsdale Quarter (AND a GIVEAWAY!!!)

1378408_645633742137178_732191833_nPlease note that this is a sponsored post for Apricot Lane at Scottsdale Quarter.  Though I was compensated for my time, the thoughts and opinions below are my own.

We all love Scottsdale Quarter, yes?? You pop over with the kiddos to use the awesome splash pad on a sweltering day. You drop the kids off with the in-laws and slip out with your hubby to have a civilized brunch at True Food Kitchen.  You meet one of your girlfriends there for a glass of wine or an iced latte. But have you ever checked out Apricot Lane?

Here are 5 great reasons why you should pay them a visit next time you’re in the Quarter!!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                1)  AFFORDABLE WARDROBE REVAMPING

C’mon, mom friends!  You know you have 5 classic LBDs and a plethora of other staples in that closet of yours, but why not spice it up a bit?! Apricot Lane specializes in hyper-trendy wardrobe additions that won’t break the bank! They source the majority of their looks from small upstart LA brands and pass the savings on to you. You can get a perfect pair of boot cuts, layering camis in 20+ colors ,and a flattering pair of tummy-cinching black leggings IMG_6149there, too!

2) MULTI-GENERATIONAL CONCEPT STORE

This is a place where you, your tween daughter, and your still-hip mom could go shopping together.  In addition to fashionable frocks, Apricot Lane has a large focus on gifty-homewares, jewelry, chic hats, bags and other accessories. They also have some of the cutest jammies I’ve seen in awhile (and SO well-priced!).

3) LOCALLY MADE WARES

Though Apricot Lane is a franchise, owners have the latitude to make many of their own product selections.  Jody Todd, the owner of the Scottsdale Quarter location, feels strongly that she should have some Arizona products on the racks and mixes them in beautifully with her California-centric look.  My favorite?  The reversible tote bags in bright, fun patterns by Flipped Bird.  SO cute and a great gift for a gal of any age (or for yourself!!).IMG_6146

4) FASHION WITH A CAUSE

Three of the jewelry lines sold at Apricot Lane, namely Good Works, Pura Vida, and 3 Strands, give a portion of their profits to organizations aiming to end human sex trafficking.  In keeping with this charitable giving mantra, the Scottsdale Quarter store is planning an in-store fundraising event this winter!  We’ll keep you posted with details as they become available!

5) HOST YOUR OWN FASHION PARTY

That’s right, ladies!  You can host your own fashion party with Apricot Lane!  This company is known for their extreme customer service; this is where they really shine!  Jody and her sales team are happy to host you in-store, in your home, or at any location that you can get your IMG_6142hands on! You and your guests will be treated to large discounts, gifts bags and drawings, your choice of music, appetizers and drinks, and depending on how far you want to go with your party, they can even help you secure a stylist and a photographer!  The parties can be as large or as intimate as you’d like, but hurry–they are already booking up for the holiday season!! (Did I mention that for a basic party, there is no cost to you??!)
