IMG_5785Last night we had the opportunity to attend the Lego KidsFest event at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.  When we left our house for the event, our family plan was to check it out and stay for about an hour and a half before heading back home.  Over 3 hours later, the whole family was still playing away completely entertained by all this event has to offer.

From two giant lego pits – one with regular brick and one with duplo…to build your own cars and racing them agains each other…to lego building competitions and challenges for kids of all ages, we enjoyed our night until well past the kids’ bedtimes!  My oldest (age 8) loved creation nation and being able to build a piece of our country out of legos.  My middle girls (ages 5 and 3) loved the Lego Friends area where they built a flower shop and pet shop out of legos.  My son (age 2) most loved the car racing exhibit and with the help of daddy, loved building a car and racing it down the track against his sisters.

No matter what you’re looking for, this event offers everything great for childhood – creativity, art, learning, architecture, and most of all – a great environment to play.
