Ten Locations for a Scottsdale Birthday Party

5

If you are planning your child’s first birthday or you already have a couple under your belt, here are some ideas for birthday parties (because I don’t know about you, but having little to no cleanup to do when a dozen or so kids are involved sounds ideal to me!).

Air Time Jump Center

1)     Air Time Jump Center is a huge, indoor trampoline park that has just opened in Scottsdale and also offers a variety of party packages. They have quite a few separate areas so all ages are sure to have a blast.

2)     Pump it Up is a multi-room indoor bouncy center that has birthday parties down to a science…since that is all they do. The kids really enjoy it a lot and, as a parent, you have got to love how they tire the kids out to just the right stage of exhaustion.

3)     The Play Factory at Desert Ridge offers their birthday party package on Sundays and they also take care of all of the work for you. With a play area for the little kids and other areas for the bigger kids, they have a variety to keep everyone happy. Though I do feel like I need to put blind folds on my children just to get them past the candy and snow cone counters at the entrance!

4)     The Little Gym has a fun birthday party package that is perfect for the younger kids. You get use of the whole gym for you and your party guests to enjoy. Their website states that Parents magazine named them the #1 place to host a children’s birthday party.

5)     Scottsdale Gymnastics parties are a blast with a ton to do for all different ages. My kids had so much fun at a party there last year. They have trampolines, a zip line, swings, and much more than just your typical gymnastics studio.

6)     Dave and Buster’s is especially great for the older kids. They have all the games, good food, and bowling that the kids (and adults) can handle.

7)     MacDonald’s Ranch is located on Scottsdale Road about a mile north of Pinnacle Peak Road. The ranch is the perfect setting for a cowboy party. They have pony rides, a petting zoo, and a fun little ranch town to play on.

8)    Young Chefs Academy offers a fun and unique birthday party package for the budding chef or the child who likes to play around in the kitchen. They have a large variety of party themes to choose from. The best part would be tasting the culinary creations at the end.

9)     I put Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza together because essentially they are the same thing. My kids recently started a phase (I hope!) where they really want to go to both of these places every other day, and I see more and more birthday parties in our future here. Since I grew up with birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese, it’s kind of nostalgic to see my kids having a ball there now.

10)  I have never been to a Girly Girlz party but with three daughters, I predict that I will be spending time and money there in the future.  They offer every kind of girly-themed soirées, from princess tea to rock star parties. Since this is what my kids already pretend to do on a daily basis, I can only imagine how much they would love this type of birthday party.

So what are your favorite birthday party locations in the Valley? Have you tried any of the places listed above? Please post your ideas below!

    • Thanks Steph! The train park does do great b-day parties. We have been to a couple there. I feel like I could have done an entire post on just the park system in Scottsdale/Phoenix for b-day parties. Maybe only if your kid has a non-summer birthday. This heat might be a bit too much for the little ones (and the adults too).

  1. Was just going through your list as I’m planning my daugher’s 6-year-old party. I’m not having any luck getting Young Chef Academy’s phone number in Arizona. Are they not here anymore? That would be perfect for her. Please let me know. Thanks!

  2. Another great site is Mrs. Potts Tea Party in Mesa. We had my daughter’s 6th birthday party there and it was a day to remember for all, even the moms! The girls are all made to feel so special, the service is great and the girls get a lesson on tea party etiquette! Absolutely adorable!!

  3. Toys & Playtime Oasis has recently opened. It is one large room geared for little ones 5 & under with lots of toys for the children to play with. We also have story time and book characters, plus much more. Birthday parties are held on weekends. Please stop by to see what is so special about Toys & Playtime Oasis.
