BABY DIARIES | 8 MONTHS- Easton will be…

…a BIG BROTHER!

That’s right! I’m pregnant with our 2nd and it’s a BOY! We couldn’t be more thrilled; we were really hoping that we’d have our kids close together. My due date is February 1st, but there’s a strong possibility #2 will be delivered a couple weeks early due to my knack for producing gigantic babies with record breaking head circumferences! In other words, our kiddos will be 14 months apart.

This pregnancy has been more difficult than my first. The morning sickness let up last week, but up until then eating was an almost impossible feat. At 4 months pregnant, I still haven’t gained 1 pound but I’m steadily working on that with the help of Graeter’s Ice Cream and Chic-Fil-A chocolate shakes! I’m very excited to be pregnant and I can hardly believe that very soon I’ll have 2 little guys running around.

Now for a little bit of mushiness about Scottsdale Moms Blog:

Over the last 8 months (and especially during the last 3 months of being really sick) the SMB community has played a critical role in my well being and my confidence as a new mom. Getting out and getting to know so many of you has been very meaningful to me. I’ve realized just how important it is for moms to connect on a regular basis and share their joys, frustrations, and precious wisdom of growing and nurturing our families. So…if you’re sitting at your computer while the kids nap, get involved! I’ve had a great time at the Moms Night Out, Playgroups, and Free Events. Please come out. All of us would love to meet you…

Before I go, here’s a recent pic of Little Dude (#1):
