Sola Coffee Bar Supports Kate McRae

3

Just this past Tuesday, a little girl went home from Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  Kate McRae, was diagnosed with brain cancer June 29, 2009.  She was just 5 years old at the time of her diagnosis.  Her recovery is not yet complete, but her story continues to inspire our community.

Sola Coffee Bar, a nonprofit independent coffee bar in Old Town Scottsdale, is giving ALL net profits and tips to the Kate McRae Fund to help with the costs for her medical bills for the month of March.

Sola has a relaxing atmosphere, is kid-friendly and has scrumptious coffee that certainly rivals the green mermaid.  Make a play-date, meet up at Sola and support Kate and her family one cup of coffee at a time.

It’s hard to understand why this beautiful  little girl has gone through something so difficult at such a young age.  But, I am encouraged to see so many people rally behind her and her family. Be a part of her recovery:

  • Don’t forget to make a trip to Old Town and support Kate this month at Sola Coffee Bar.
