Ahhhh, the splash pad. Like most young children, Jenny’s kids love the splash pad. It is pretty much an Arizona childhood tradition to spend a hot afternoon cooling down with springs of water shooting all over the place. Now that she has experience with the splash pad, she wrote about a few must have tips that make a trip to the splash pad a bit easier.

Angela has not found all the solutions to her summer woes (three months at sleep-away camp is not a viable solution), but she does have a few tricks to help her and the kids make it through until August.

Summers are hard. We all have grand plans in the beginning, but those plans seem to be forgotten as each 110+ day passes. Embrace what’s working so far, drop anything that’s not, and take a glance at these tips to simplify your summer activities…..
No matter where you live, the summer days can start to drag after the first week or two. An easy solution is to create a summer bucket list, so when the inevitable “I’m BORED!” statement starts getting thrown around, you can pull out your list and start checking off the fun things the kids brainstormed at the beginning of the summer.
Lindsey discovered that having a new baby and months of triple digits, is tough. She had to get creative for surviving summer or this season was going to involve three long months of going stir crazy in the house. In her sleep deprived state, she decided not to let the Arizona summer win and you shouldn’t either!
