Whether you are a new mom or a seasoned mom, having a close knit group of women to support and encourage you is important. People you can trust, get advice from or just have a listening ear when times are tough. Joining a local mom group is a wonderful way to meet other moms and start building these lifelong friendships.
Since 1985, North Central Parenting Group has been educating parents of infants and young children with the aid of qualified teachers who explore effective parenting skills through bi-weekly classes. As a non-profit, non-denominational organization, our goal is to offer quality parenting classes while providing a forum for parents to share ideas and gain lifelong friendships.
Our exceptional teachers have a vast array of experience in child development, childhood nutrition, guidance and counseling, and other areas related to family life. The knowledge and education you gain through the classes will become your parenting guide in all aspects of your life, as you and your child grow together.
We’ve all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.

MOPS groups are fun, Christ-centered communities for moms with children from birth through kindergarten. The goal of MOPS is to meet the needs of moms by providing biblically sound resources, encouragement and friendship. Throughout the year, special speakers help us make a difference in our homes, friendships, and with our kids. We also routinely meet at other times for play dates, ministry opportunities, marketplace connection lunches and moms’ nights out.
Mothers are loving, giving, and on call twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. You take excellent care of your family, but who takes care of you? Where do you find time to relax, unwind, and recharge? The answer is MOPS, a ministry whose purpose is to nurture YOU! MOPS is dedicated to the message that “mothering matters” and that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical and formative years. MOPS believes that better moms make better kids. MOPS, an international program for mothers of young children, is a place to enjoy the fellowship of other moms striving to meet the rewarding and challenging responsibilities of motherhood.
