Local Breakfast Love: Perk Eatery

1
We were so happy and thankful to partner with Perk Eatery for our SMB Bloom event this month. As always, all opinions expressed are our own.

There is nothing like a good breakfast to start your morning off on the right foot, and Perk Eatery is one of our favorite local spots. This is a family owned and operated restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch (and of course, brunch if you just want to make it one meal). They have a passion for providing the community with fresh food that comes from local farms whenever possible. They make all of their dressings and sauces in house and use organic ingredients as much as possible.

But the most important part, it TASTES GOOD! All of it. Several of us at SMB have frequented this local spot and have never left without a satisfied and full belly. If you have to wait (which you may, because lots of people love this place), stop by the bar for a morning mimosa or a vanilla latte and browse the menu.

Consider the Fancy Pants Scramble. Eggs sauteed with turkey, spinach, brie, and fig compote? Yep, you had me at brie. The fig is the perfect finishing touch on this morning dish.

Definitely try their homemade Cilantro Jalapeno Sauce. We love it on the Sonoran Kitchen Sink Scramble, everything you love about the Southwest mixed into a perfectly spicy breakfast scramble.

Are you more interested in the sweet side of breakfast? No worries, they have that too. Their Wine Country French Toast stuffed with brie and topped with roasted grapes was featured on Food Network. It’s topped with red wine rosemary syrup….what’s not to love about wine for breakfast?!

Have you been to Perk Eatery yet? What’s your favorite dish?

  1. What a fantastic spot! I absolutely love that they are so committed to using fresh, local, and organic ingredients. Especially when it comes to sauces and dressings, there can be so much junk in pre-made ones. The thought of sipping on a mimosa or vanilla latte makes the idea of waiting almost seem luxurious. Looking forward to trying the delicious dishes you highlighted.
