indoor play placesWhen the summer heat has you stuck indoors, but your own house is getting a bit too small (and messy!) pack up the kids and try out these great indoor spaces for big and small. The kids get all that energy out and have lots of fun….all while staying cool.

Arizona Science Center: The Arizona Science Center brings learning to life for all kids. Whether you have toddlers, big kids, or both – you will find something fun to explore. There are many hands-on exhibits and demonstrations to keep you and the children learning and inspired by the world around you.

Sky Zone: Trampolines, foam pits, dodge-ball or obstacle courses – Sky Zone has all kinds of activities to encourage kids big and little to use up all that energy. There are separate trampolines just for the younger kids so you don’t have to worry about them getting mixed up with the big kids plus they have a snack bar and free WiFi for the parents.

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix: The Children’s Museum is located downtown Phoenix and definitely worth the drive. There are three floors of exploration for the kids to play, use their imagination, and get creative. The stations and activities are designed to get kids thinking and exploring. They can play pretend in the grocery store, race cars down a track or get lost in a noodle forest. There is even a room specially reserved for babies and toddlers. The museum can literally keep you and the kids busy for the entire day.

Mini Social: Located in the heart of Old Town (and next to Zoolikins) this is a great place for kids to play while grown ups can relax. They serve Cartel coffee and Herb Box food, and have all kids need to be entertained – with our favorite being the projector that plays games on the floor!

OdySea AquariumButterfly Wonderland & Pangea: The OdySea in the Desert is a mecca of family entertainment. You can spend the whole day there visiting the aquarium, checking out the Butterfly Wonderland, great restaurants and tons of family friendly activities all year round.

Phoenix Public Library & Scottsdale Public Library- Lots of reading programs and story times available in the summer.

Rachel’s Young at Art: Art camp and classes for the littles!

Ready Set Play!: Located inside the Paradise Valley Mall, this is a fun, safe and entertaining indoor playground and party center for children starting from 6 months to 6 years old. Our goal is to create a healthy and friendly environment.

Scottsdale Gymnastics: Great camp activities to keep the kids busy.

The Stomping Ground: Brand new indoor play place!!

Tot Town @ Shiloh Church: Shiloh Church opens up their doors to families every other Wednesday (more in the summer, check their website for dates) for little kids to play in their gym FULL of all things fun. There are a few bounce houses, kitchens, cars, building blocks and more.
