Music Together in Phoenix {Sing, Dance, & Play}

mt 150 x 150 SMB S15All children are musical! They can learn to sing and keep a beat and have confidence in their abilities. Music Together in Phoenix is the perfect place for your children to nurture this musical growth in a fun and engaging atmosphere. The classes are developmentally appropriate and support the unique learning styles of children.

Music Together offers classes for babies, families of mixed ages, big kids and guitar lessons for grown ups in several locations around Phoenix. They also have some classes on Saturdays for families who prefer weekend activities. Parents are encouraged to participate with the kids and enjoy the time dancing, singing and moving with the kids.

I had the chance to bring my boys to one of the family classes, and I can tell you we honestly had SO MUCH FUN! Many classes offered for toddlers require a one-to-one adult and child ratio. This makes it hard for families with multiple little ones, I was so happy to see that I could bring both of my boys to Music Together even though they are different ages. There was a welcoming atmosphere right from the start, music playing and kids dancing before the class even began. The teacher, Kathy, guided us through lots of rhythm games, sing alongs and dances. The kids pretended to be mice, snakes, and bunnies. They rolled on the ground and did circles around the room. It was such a great way for the kids to get their energy out, but while learning with musical experiences.

Our favorite part of class (and I think all of the kids there would agree) was the giant basket of instruments that came out at the end. The kids got to play and try all different kinds of music and sounds without being told to be quiet, the louder the better! Throughout the whole class, we felt comfortable and free to share, learn and explore the love of music!
