DIY Wrapping Paper Organizer!

1

I know it still feels like summer out there, but the truth is, the holiday season is approaching fast and we have little time to prepare for all the usual “to-do’s” that come with it!  This is a DIY Wrapping Paper organizer project that will be well worth the time you put into it!

We all have it.

Piles of wrapping paper, gift tags, bows, bags, and tissue paper collected and recycled over the years.

At least I do and am hoping you all can relate!

Where do we put it all?  Stuffed under the stair closet in a very unorganized manner was not ideal nor easily accessible!  Yep, I’ve known for a while just how badly I need a Wrapping Paper Organization Station.

After brainstorming and checking the world wide web for some inspiration, it hit me. I knew I needed to get creative on placement first.  Since I transformed my under the stairs closet to a kid’s book nook, that option was out.

Many home closets would work perfectly for this project, but in my case, I had an unused armoire that was ideal!

I chose to use gold spray paint for added glam to the rods I bought for the wrapping paper & ribbon.  Each rod was only $3.14 a piece at Target.  Score!  White tension rods turned gold glam!  Love!

I used a household basket to hold all of the many gift bags we collect throughout the year.

Lastly, I glammed up a plastic drawer container to organize all of the extra little pieces that come with gift wrapping.  I am definitely not the best at wrapping gifts but at least this is a step in the right direction!
