Best Places to Eat with Kids in Phoenix

When seeking a kid-friendly dining experience, I stray away from chicken fingers and ball pits in favor of healthy food and an ambiance mom and dad can enjoy as well. These are my top six favorite places to dine out with my little dude.

St. Francis

Kids eat free at this farm-to-table favorite, and they don’t skimp on portion size. We love the chicken breast with potatoes and spinach. Plus, if you’re headed into meltdown territory, there’s a box of toys next to the host counter!

Phoenix Public Market Cafe

St. Francis’ sister restaurant provides plenty of options for kiddos with dietary restrictions, and for every kid’s meal purchased, they provide two meals to Valley kids in need. Try the almond butter and jelly sandwich!

Humble Pie

Bring your little one with you to Sunday dinner and their meal is on the house. Also, on every second Saturday, they host Humble Pie Kids Camp, where kids get to create their own pizza!

Oregano’s

We love how friendly the staff is at Oregano’s, and our little man will eat just about anything on the menu (especially the pizza cookie dessert!). While waiting for your food, they hand out pizza dough to help distract from grumbling tummies.

Pita Jungle

The kids’ menu lets you build your own plate complete with a veggie, fruit, protein, and grain. Not bad for five bucks!

Windsor

This happens to be one of my favorite dates spots, but it’s just as great for kids as adults. Each meal comes with a side of fresh fruit. Try the pulled pork slider with a side of sweet potato fries. Don’t forget to hit up Churn next door for a homemade ice cream dessert!
