Unruly Hair, Lots of Tears, & My New Life Changing Solution

7

With three daughters, I spend a big chunk of every morning trying to brush out slept on, messy hair. I have one child who has especially fine, tangled hair and a very sensitive scalp. So she spends the morning in tears and I end up feeling bad for making her cry. It is horrible.

Here is a picture of what I am dealing with.

And we go through lots of this stuff (pictured below). I have even started making my own, since we use sooooo much of it. (Mix together leave in conditioner and water in a spray bottle).

But recently (I can’t believe it took me over 6 years to hear about this product)I discovered the Knot Genie Hair Detangling Brush(I have not been paid in any way for this sponsorship. I just had to share this great product with all of you. I wish someone would have given me one (or two) of these years ago!)

It has seriously changed my life. The kids love to have their hair brushed with it. We have barely had any tears. And the best part is that they want to do the brushing themselves.

See for yourself in the after picture:

I don’t know how it works. But I am so glad that it does. It also works great on wet hair right out of the bath.

Does anyone else out there swear by this brush? Can you believe that I did not know about this until now? This could have saved me years of hair battles!

  1. I also have 3 daughters, and tangles are a big issue. I can’t wait to try out this brush. I also highly recommend Paul Mitchell’s leave in conditioner called The Conditioner. It works so well and smells really good.

    • I bought mine from Amazon. I found it cheaper there than any other place. I have heard that you can buy it locally at some hair places, but I have not seen it.

  2. Thank you for sharing this! I, too, have three daughters with sensitive scalps, and I have not been able to find a comb that works well. I was actually just thinking today that it’s about time to try the next thing. Now I know what to look for!

  3. We found a version of this brush at Ross Store. They call it the Hair Bean and my daughter is much happier during hair brushing 🙂

  4. THANK YOU ANGELA! The morning brushing was becoming a nightmare – I immediately ordered this and it does work! Also I think the fact that I sold it to B that it wouldn’t hurt made it work even better!
