Fun Family Farmer’s Market at City North

0

Every third Sunday of the month, City North holds the largest Farmer’s market in Phoenix on the main street. There are a ton of booths with everything you would expect to find at a farmer’s market (organic produce and meats, fresh breads, different sauces and salsas) and some unexpected vendors as well (like Honey Bear’s BBQ – yum!).

For the kids, they have face painting, balloon animals, train rides, pony rides, crafts, bouncy slides, and more.  Some of these activities are for a fee or donation. We had to limit our children to a couple of activities with the promise that we would come back next month for more fun. Since the kids got to choose what they spent their time and money on, they were content and had a great time with a few activities and then moving on to help me pick out the fresh produce from the market.

Each month there is a different theme and charity sponsored at the event. November’s Market on High Street highlights charities sponsored by the Phoenix Coyotes. There will be a Phoenix Coyotes slap shot game and a $2 donation to Coyotes Charities gets you a spin on the prize wheel.
