Friday Date Night – Caffe Boa Tempe

0

Winner of Phoenix Magazine’s Best Restaurant Bars Award 2010 and holding an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, Caffe Boa obviously has a great reputation.

Although Caffe Boa has a Mill Avenue address, it’s entrance is actually off of Fourth Street and  is just far enough away from the crowds of ASU students to create a relaxed atmosphere on the patio, shaded by trees and leafy vines, and illuminated by white twinkling lights. Inside, it’s super cozy (perfect for a date night), with beautiful brick walls, warmCaffe Boa logo colored drapes and dark wood tables – slightly upscale yet still casual and comfortable. Ahhh so nice.

To begin, each table is served fresh breads from Mesa’s Breadsmith bakery and olives and oil from the Queen Creek Olive Mill (love me some local businesses!) And the menu is studded with a dozen or so incredibly scrumptious entrees ranging from ricotta and spinach tortellini ($18.95) to free-range filet mignon ($25).  You really can’t go wrong with Caffe Boa’s yummy menu.  And of course there are decadent desserts and an impressive wine menu to compliment your meal.

Caffe BoaAnd lastly, for those on a budget (aren’t we all these days?), Caffe Boa happens to have one of my FAVORITE happy hours in the city.  Everyone loves 1/2 off appetizers and glasses of wine and $2 off premium draft beers and signature cocktails, right? See their Happy Hour Menu. Just some food for thought 😉

Consider me impressed! Check it out this week for a romantic Friday Date Night.
